Plaza de la Catedral
Went to Cuba over the summer holidays. Woke up real early and took this photo in Havana. I merged 2 exposures together to best create what i saw that morning.

Just watched a documentary about W. Eugene Smith, an American photojournalist who took many powerful B&W photos during WWII. Afterwards i was inspired to change some of my favourite Uganda photos to B&W. Was quite enjoyable. I want to try and take more photos with the intention of converting them to greyscale.

Here’s another short animation test. We did this one last year just to see how we would go about achieving it —In case you were wondering here is the step by step:
1] Try to carefully plan the final frame you’ll end up with
2] First shoot what would show up on the screen, frame by frame.
3] Then pull back -keeping the same perspective but from further away.
4] Then shoot your final animation by shooting the background at the same time as changing the desktop wallpaper to the corresponding frames you shot earlier.Posted on May 24, 2011 with 2 notes
