Our friend Sam Lewis, an animator at Oh Yeah Wow, took his art to the streets of Brunswick this week.

“I’ve had this idea for a while now to paint faces on abandoned televisions that I see around Brunswick. Last week I went out with a bag of paint, my photographer house mate Jean and her canon DSLR. We found a couple of dumped TV’s a short way up our street. I painted, Jean photographed, we went home, the end.  ”

GOTYE SHOOT

Well hello there, as many of you may know we are currently shooting the ‘Easy Way Out’ music video for Gotye. Apart from spending half the time in his underwear and eating fruit out of a large bucket, Wally has been a valuable asset to have around in this clip. Without him the clip would just be a camera spinning around in circles with Goldy crying. For the record, Darcy had no objections to this outcome.



 

The Old Mill are working at Oh Yeah Wow on a music video for Gotye. It’s been great fun so far with 2 shoot days of shooting with Gotye down and another 2 weeks of animation and set construction before more shooting with Gotye begins in January. There’s still a long way to go!
